TETC Meetings

TETC holds eleven monthly meetings across the year, usually on the first Tuesday of each month. However, when the first Tuesday, falls after a Bank Holiday - the meeting will move to the second Tuesday. All TETC meetings take place, in the First Floor, Meeting Room of the Enfield Drill Hall (see pictures below), unless otherwise stated in TETC programme. TETC meetings, usually comprise of an illustrated presentation, on a transport or transport related subject - by Circle, Local and Nationally sourced speakers. There is a donation fee of: 4.00 GBP's. Meetings start at 8:00pm and close at 10:00pm - and usually contain a refreshment interval (refreshments cost: 50p), and a raffle (cost 1.00 GBP's to enter) - with normally transport, transport related books and DVD's being offered as prizes.

TETC is a not-for-profit organisation, and as such any profits we do make, are used to make donations to various transport groups - which TETC feel will benefit from them. Since 2014, TETC have made donations to the following organisations:

  • Bluebell Railway (Cash for Cover Appeal - Twice).
  • Churnet Valley Railway (on behalf of our late Chairman & Secretary: Roger Elkin - 2018).
  • East Anglian Railway Museum (EARM - 2014).

  • Epping Ongar Railway (North Weald Footbridge Fund - 2015).
  • Swanage Railway (Twice).
  • The Postal Museum, London (2015).
